Road America is race car track located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Green Bay. The track has been hosting races since the 50s and currently hosts the Nascar Nationwide Series, American Le Mans, SCCA Speed World Challenge Series, Grand-Am, and AMA Superbike series.

The track is on 640 acres. Road America hosts over 400 events per year and is one of only a few road circuits maintaining its original track configuration in the world. The track is 4.048 miles long with 14 turns, elevation changes, and a long front stretch where drivers can reach up to 200 mph. One of the widely known features of the course is a turn commonly know as “the kink.”

A lap record was set by Dario Franchitti of Team KOOL Green back in 2000. His lap time was 1:39.866.
